Welcome to Mill Hill Park Cafe, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of London’s serene Mill Hill Park. This unassuming cafe offers not just a meal, but an immersive experience surrounded by nature, making it the perfect stop for families, friends, and anyone seeking solace in the park's lush environment.

At Mill Hill Park Cafe, the menu is a celebration of delightful and wholesome food. You can immerse yourself in the delightful flavors of their standout offerings, such as the incredibly popular falafel and hummus, both prepared with fresh ingredients that pack a punch of flavor. Feeling hungry? Try the schnitzel in pitta, which has earned rave reviews for its tender texture and delicious seasoning. The Israeli side salad also adds a refreshing crunch that perfectly complements any dish.

The cafe is particularly family-friendly, with a dedicated kids' menu featuring options like chicken nuggets and kids' beef burgers, ensuring that even the youngest diners leave satisfied. Not to mention, the reasonable pricing allows you to enjoy more without worrying about the bill. Each dish is crafted with care, and patrons have lauded the menu for its simplicity and quality—something that shines through the positive feedback, like the warm praises from Lucy O'Gilvie, who appreciates the cafe's lovely swarma and falafel pittas.

The atmosphere here is incredibly welcoming. You can enjoy your meal while soaking in the picturesque surroundings of Mill Hill Park. Customers often take advantage of the ample outdoor seating, especially during the sunny days when the park is bustling with life. It's clear why families and dog owners frequent this spot—there's plenty of space for children to play, with a nearby playground and tennis courts, as noted by Helen T's review. The cafe also becomes a hub for casual meet-ups and remote working, making it a versatile spot to unwind or be productive.

Although some guests suggest that the cafe could benefit from an update to its decor, the warm service and delightful food make it worth a visit time and again, as echoed by the sentiments of Diane David and Sean Sayer. While waiting for your food, enjoy some lovely ice cream to cool off, especially on warmer days!

No matter if you are a local or just passing through, Mill Hill Park Cafe invites you to indulge in a satisfying meal amid nature. Just remember to check the opening hours, as food is served between noon and 4 PM. With great food and a community feel, it’s a spot you won’t want to miss on your visit to the area.

Amazing food in this unassuming setting. Has the usual drinks and ice creams but also amazing falafel, hummus ,pitta, salad, schnitzel etc. Very reasonable prices. Could do with an upgrade on the outside seating but still worth a visit for the food. Also worth noting the large children's play area, tennis courts and bowling green and summer entertainment in the park. Chargeable car park for the park but free for two hours.

Lovely swarmas and felafel pittas, simple menu done well. Good value. Nice friendly staff. It's a sit outside place so best in good weather situated right in the middle of Mill Hill Park.

Great food - amazing falafel and hummus at a reasonable price in a park. Definitely worth a revisit when I am in the area again visiting friends.

Relaxing local cafe with the usual East London coffee, sandwich and pastry selection. Very warm and accommodating staff for people working remotely, or trying to feed the kids.

The food is fantastic if you can get there for the window that it is open (think it's noon-4pm for food only) it's open earlier but no food served and strictly no food orders before noon! Sometimes don't serve iced codes if it's busy (which is quite frequently - as the food is fab!). Personally I like strong coffee and their coffee only has one shot. But worth visiting for the food alone - which is delicious Shame they no longer do deliveroo as we ordered twice a week when they did!!

Very tasty schnitzel in pitta on a mild but miserable afternoon. Very quiet and not busy. Friendly service. Not sure if work is planned, but the whole cafe could do with seriously refurbishing, or at least repainting. It's looked the same for years!! Such a shame, it could be much more welcoming and comfortable.

Busy on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of seating outdoors, only couple of tables with umbrella on sunny day. Good food, prompt service. Dogs welcome, but only outside. A couple of tables inside. Ice cream available for hot days. Next to kids playground on one side, cricket field on the otherside. Two carparks and is free. Good place to walk dogs too.

Kids loved the falafel. Reasonable prices, and so good to have a London park cafe that serves good healthy food and opened all year around. Thank you.
